On a short trip in October 1996 Ceoltoiri Kilkenny visited Edinburg and Glasgow.
In Edinburg after a tour of Edinburg Castle the group entertained at a session in an Irish Bar.

Ceoltoiri Kilkenny were guests of the 'Irish Minstrels' Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann in Glasgow and had a most enjoyable evening where, after the show they were joined by members of Comhaltas in Glasgow for a Ceili and session.
