6 members of Ceoltoiri Kilkenny were in Iceland as part of a Dublin Tourism promotion. The group were based in Reykjavik during their 5 day stay and their performances were in shopping malls, restaurants, bars, and at the Tourist Board offices.

The Group also featured on the national radio and television stations during their trip.
