In October 1994 as part of a wider tour, Ceoltoiri Kilkenny were in Amsterdam at the invitation of the Irish club of the Netherlands. We got a tremendous reception in O'Reilly's Irish Bar where a great group of Irish people had gathered.

In 1995, again as part of a wider tour we were back in Holland. Our first performance of this tour was on the 'Stena Europe' ferry during the evening Cabaret show.
The Irish Club were again our hosts and the concert was organised in Theater Bellevue. During the show Ceoltoiri Kilkenny were joined by the Irish Club Children's Dancing Group.

Mulligan's Irish Pub was also included in our itinerary and the session continued there until late.

Sightseeing included a visit to Ann Frank House. During the war in 1942, Ann Frank and her family hid in this house. Her diary written about that time was published in 1947 - The Diary of Ann Frank has been published in more than 55 languages.
